About the position
Our Built Environment practice has a global footprint with more than 5,000 professionals contributing to +$1.5B in revenue. Our Architectural, Interior and Building System solutions supports all aspects of specialty consulting to include asset management, economics, business development and scientific advancement for our government, commercial, institutional and industrial clients, across diverse markets and services.
To be based in either of Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and reporting to our Section Lead – Building Services, the Hydraulics Team Leader will be responsible for driving innovative hydraulic design services to key clients and supporting the further growth and development of our Building Services Team through the identification and winning of new business.
About you
Qualifications and skills required for this role include:
Relevant Degree qualification, must be CPEng
Significant experience as a Hydraulics Engineer, specifically in complex buildings such as healthcare, tertiary education, laboratories, pharmaceuticals and process plants
Preferably have leadership experience in a building services field.
Fully conversant in the design of Hydraulics Services to AS/NZS standards and the NZ Building code requirements
Proficient in interrogation of REVIT models for building services design
Awareness of individual capability limitations and technical competence
Competent in the preparation of hydraulics services documentation
Innovative in design approach and problem solving
Good time and excellent project management skills
Able to present design solutions within a client environment
