Location: Auckland
We require a Bookkeeper to maintain and evaluate records of financial transactions for our busy business.
Duties to be undertaken (but not limited to) include
Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions;
Develop system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts;
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balance accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintain general ledger by transferring account summaries.
Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Maintain historical records by filing documents.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Comply with legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Prepare Invoices, purchase orders and bank deposits
Preparing Tax documents for the company as required
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
This is a fast-paced position that requires someone with great communication skills, an excellent work ethic, and the ability to manage a team in a positive way leading by example from the front.
The ideal applicant will possess a strong work ethic and be able to manage a large team.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
Relevant minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification or minimum 1-year relevant work experience
Ability to work flexible hours, start early morning.
Ready to work even in weekends
Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Testing
No criminal convictions
Must have NZ class 1 Driving License
