Boarding House Tutor - Fixed-Term - Christchurch

A well known private girls primary school is seeking one Boarding House Tutor to help care for the boarding students during the week (Monday - Friday) until early December 2019. The girls range in age from 7 - 12 years old.
You will assist the Boarding House Manager with the care of students including activities such as homework, dinner, games, laundry and other duties as required. You will need to ensure the girls physical and emotional safety at all times, provide support, encouragement and guidance to the students. A full drivers licence is essential and a police check will be required. You must be over the age of 18 to apply for this position.
Hours of work: every second weekend (Sat 12 - 6) and (Sun 11 - 5)
Additional to the above hours there may also be available relief afternoon/evening work on weekdays - weekday shifts are 3.30- 9pm. The Boarding House is closed during school term breaks - this is a term time only position.
Personal Qualities: Be a suitable role model to the girls. Be loyal, honest, self motivated and a good communicator. Experience working with children is necessary to this role.
