Bitumen Plant Operator

The opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Plant Operator to join our Bitumen and Emulsion manufacturing plants at our Napier facility.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for manufacturing large quantities of bitumen and emulsion products for the roading industry across the North island and you'll be integral in ensuring that production is met! The role is exciting with a lot of variation from manufacturing products at our high-tech world-class facility to assisting with ship discharges at Napier Port.

Self-motivated, have a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself Reliable, honest and a flexible team-player Have excellent time management skills You’re physically fit You have good literacy and excellent verbal and written communication skills Manufacturing facilities maintenance, knowledge of valving, pipework, tanks, pneumatics, heating systems Experience in a manufacturing facility with control systems and computer and PLC experience is preferred
You will also be extensively trained in confined spaces, working at heights, OSH forklift licensing and chemical handling so you’ll be in the perfect position to nail this role!
