My Ride Richmond is an independently owned, specialist cycling store that provides every rider with the best brands, best service and best advice.
We are looking for an experienced and competent bike mechanic to join our team.
The successful applicant will have skills and experience with bike servicing and repairs, including:
*Diagnosis
*Suspension and brake servicing
*E-bike, MTB and road bike servicing and repairs
*New bike builds
*Good knowledge of different bike parts and brands
Successful applicant will be offered ongoing training and supported to build up skills in all aspects of the role.
Our workshop prides itself on high quality work, good turnaround times and great communication. Our mechanics are also always ready to jump in and help with the retail aspect of the shop when required.
The successful applicant must be organised, able to work in a busy, but fun work environment, have basic computer skills, a friendly phone manner and offer outstanding customer service. Ideally an active bike rider with a passion for riding and the local trails.
Role is Monday to Friday (at least 40hrs) as well as some weekend work. This may be your opportunity to relocate to the beautiful sunny bike haven of Nelson.
A current and clean driver’s license is required.
Should have NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.
