This is a rare opportunity for an experienced BI Developer to join our IT department with responsibility for the planning, design, development and implementation of Kathmandu’s BI environment ensuring it is in alignment with company strategy. To ensure success in this role the ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of structured analysis, technical design and data modelling techniques as well as a proven track record in providing innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Developing custom reporting solutions to agreed customer specifications.
Producing well documented and maintainable implementations.
Implementing data warehouse and OLAP solutions using Kathmandu’s accepted vendor tool sets and standards.
Managing required changes to ETL processes for source data integration and migration requirements for data warehouse environments.

Designing, building and continually updating a BI framework that accurately captures, shares, distributes, secures and leverages Kathmandu’s data resources.
Tertiary qualification, 4+ years BI Development experience and a proven track record with BI implementation projects
Strong working knowledge of SQL query language and SQL Server 2008
Strong working knowledge of dashboards scorecards and visualisation tools
Proven experience with ETL tools (SSIS)
Experience in MicroStrategy is advantageous
Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels is essential
