Before And After School Care Assistants

We are an established family owned business providing high quality out of school care since 2002. With multiple sites at primary and intermediate schools across the North Shore we specialise in providing a home away from home environment for children to be themselves in our care. About you: You will have a natural empathy for children, their development and their cultural background. You're creative, fun loving, enjoy being part of a team and exercise great time management skills. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, however, a genuine interest in working with children is a must. About the role - Assistants: We need someone in a permanent position to meet the shift demands of out of school hours Monday to Friday 2.30pm until 6pm. You will need to be able to commit to a minimum 3 shifts per week. Duties include supporting the manager in the day to day running of an out of school care programme, leading a range of kids activities, children pick up and drop offs to after school activities and other responsibilities involved in child care, e.g., the preparation of afternoon tea, supervision of children, cleaning of the area and reporting to the managers. Extended hours during school holiday periods are also on offer.

It is our expectation that all employees will operate in a way that reflects this intent. You will need to meet a Police reference check.
