You will learn how to manage your own block and learn or develop your pasture and animal management skills.This role also gives you the opportunity to get comfortable with Pamu systems and processes, as you will learn and run your own Farmax file and record data into FarmIQ.The FarmPuketotara Farm is operating an intensive store/finishing system, farming Friesian cross bulls across 950 effective hectares. Puketotara Farm is located 15 minutes from Kerikeri.About YouWe are looking for a candidate who has got a passion for farming, a high work ethic, and health and safety and animal management skills that are second to none.You will also have:·A couple of good dogs.·An interest in technical and intensive farming practices with a focus on high production.·Proven pasture and animal husbandry skills.·Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.·Strong planning and time management skills.·Restricted or full driver's licence.Due to our reporting requirements, you must be tech friendly to be happy in this role.
