Flamingo Joe’s is looking for a Bartender to join the team!
Kapura (previously known as the Wellington Hospitality Group) owns and operates Flamingo Joe’s. Perfectly located on Wellington’s Waterfront in the heart of the CBD, Flamingo Joe’s is upbeat, fun and always pumping! Open from breakfast to dinner, Monday to Saturday and only closed for dinner on Sunday. Flamingo Joe's is the place to go for a great feed and awesome service! Candidates will need to be able to work evenings and weekends.
Due to the nature of hospitality, our Bartenders are some of the first faces that our loyal customers see, which in turn makes you the face of Kapura. Naturally, you need more than just a smile…..
Key requirements for the role include:
Experience behind a busy bar in a vibrant, fast-paced restaurant
Awesome cocktail design and construction experience
Basic bar knowledge
A flare for the creative
A passion and desire to surprise and delight everyone that walks into the venue
To be great at building relationships with customers and team members
To be comfortable under pressure
The ability to be a team player - being able to work on the floor when needed
