i Darts HIVE is seeking a hands on leader who is customer service orientated, organised and a passionate people person to join and grow our team, taking our bar operations to the next level by being the key person to handle the day-to-day operations of the key franchise corporate store. You will report to General Manager of i Darts Australia. i Darts has an amazing reputation for being a fun, friendly darts bar where regular customers return weekly and everyone will soon know you like family, so integration with the current customer base of regulars are essential. We are also looking in increase bar promotions, fun filled events/activities, which this role will offer both challenge and reward.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Bar Manager:
Manage in-house promotions, tournaments and events
Create bartender and employee schedule (rostering) based on specified hours/percentages manage shifts
Pour, Serve and Mix Drinks for beer, wine, spirits and other beverages
Interview, train and supervise new staff
Improve quality of staff performance and outlet presentation
Handle admin and paperwork duties
Handle customer bookings, enquiries and complaints
Handle conflicts, questions, complaints and suggestions from staff
Keep relevant financial records and stats
Basic management, maintenance and servicing of darts machines
Opening and Closing of the venue
Banking and Cash Handling
Adhere to compliance standards of council, law and liquor license authorities
Manage ordering of goods to ensure good cost of goods control and percentages
Work within budget and be resourceful
Balance and close the POS at the end of the night
Manage customers for private functions based on requirements of that function
Report and file and incidents, complaints, theft and accidents at the venue
Identify opportunities to help improve the venue and operation flow
Maintain good order of the venue from internals(staff and venue) to outside of the venue
Improve and address customer experiences
Manage all floor staff and bar staff to ensure they are working as a team and performing their duties efficiently
Help promote and manage the venue through Facebook and Instagram Accounts.
