Automotive Technician / Senior Mechanic

We are a small family business established for over 20 years providing Mechanical Repairs/WOF/Tyre Services for a variety of vehicles, including cars, small trucks, and trailers and we are looking to employ a Senior Mechanic.
This position requires someone who has had at least 5 years experience as a Senior Mechanic in NZ, and preferably has experience in providing Tyre services.
MUST haves:
a current drivers licence preferably Class 1/2/4 and reliable transport.
WOF Certified
outstanding work ethic and time keeping skills

To be successful in this position it is required that you will:
Have good record and time keeping skills
Have logical problem solving capability and strong mechanical diagnostic skills
Have experience and the ability in the use of vehicle diagnostic equipment
Be Trade Qualified or suitably experienced and have kept up to date with modern vehicle systems
Be willing to provide mentoring / teaching to our apprentice
Outstanding customer service skills
Be honest / reliable / hardworking
Be computer literate
Enjoy being part of a small team, have a sense of humor, and ability to work unsupervised
