We are experiencing considerable growth in New Zealand and as a result; we have recently relocated to brand new modern offices in Albany, as we look to increase our product range and expand the team.
This role sits within the Product Development team that is delivering a world class, cloud based Patient Management system (PMS), as well as the continued development of an outstanding service-eco system. Therefore we are searching for a highly competent, driven and personable Automation Engineer to join the team;
The role:
Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
Design, develop and maintain frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our development teams.
Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality releases.
Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing the automation coverage of our products.
Mentor team members on automation.
Proactively bring problems to the attention of the team, as well as propose and implement innovative solutions to solve them.
Be meticulous about documenting and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results.
In order to support CI/CD, ensure that all automated tests are executed in each build, and the results are easily accessible and communicated.
Be a creative thinker who can quickly identify and test for functional ‘edge cases’ outside of the expected functionality workflow.

Requirements:
At least 3 years of working in tooling or QA automation.
Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments.
Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI.
Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes.
Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD.
Proficient working with relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL.
Education - Degree in Computer Science or related qualification.
Experience - 3+ years hands-on experience in test automation.
