About the Role: Due to our ongoing growth, we're in need of an Australia/New Zealand Business Development Manager based in our city office. As part of our sales-driven and market-led team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our business. This role will have two cores focuses, firstly optimising our existing client relationships covering Grocery/Pharmacy and Duty Free, through building strong relationships with all key stakeholders and ensuring they see Lanocorp as a key strategic partner for mutual growth. Secondly you will need to identify new business opportunities across both countries, ensuring all three of our brands have both a strong presence in each market but also a clear Channel strategy. Requirements: We're looking for a candidate with: Strong commercial acumen with previous experience in business development, sales, marketing, or related fields. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A strategic mindset. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, developing market entry strategies, and creating business development plans. Excellent networking skills. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts is a key aspect of the role. Proven experience in FMCG. Specific experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is highly valued. Familiarity with FMCG distribution channels, retail strategies, and consumer behaviour within this sector is essential for success. Negotiation prowess. This includes prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals. Understanding of retail distribution dynamics. A thorough understanding of retail distribution dynamics is essential for navigating the complexities of getting products to market efficiently and effectively. This includes knowledge of various distribution channels, pricing strategies, and retailer relationships to enhance overall brand visibility in the retail environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including management, team members, and external partners.
