E is 5 years 6 months. The twins turned 4 in September. We live in Browns Bay which is located on the North Shore of Auckland. It's a lovely setting with lots of bird song and lots of space for the children to play. Everything is within walking distance including the children's school and kindy.Life is busy and hectic. There is usually an activity daily for the children. Mstr 5 is at school 5 days a week. He attends 8.30am - 3pm daily. Miss 4 & 4 attend kindy Mon to Fri from 8.30am to 2.30pm. All the children have activities - swimming and taekwondo on Mondays and ThursdaysWe have had 5 au pairs and are seeking no 6. The children are being brought up tri lingual so one of your duties will be to be committed to exposing them to activities in French, through videos, games, taking them to French immersion playgroups etcWe do a lot of entertaining so always have guests over often. Most times from abroad as all our family lives outside New Zealand. We are a very social family and welcome everyone with open arms including your family and friends if they want to visit NZ too. I have 2 rambunctious, boisterous children and 1 very laid back and calm one. Their favourite place is outside. You will have sole care of them when Andrew and I are at work. You will need to like being active and exploring as well as being out and about. You will have access to a car for your daily activities with the children and for your personal use too.Your major duties will include:• Waking up children• Dressing (or helping to dress) children • Taking children to/from school, appointments, after school activities etc• Entertaining children; supervising them during play• Help with children’s kindy work• Making children’s beds and keeping children’s rooms tidy and clean• Preparing simple meals for children/ helping to prepare family meals• Preparing children for bedtime• Tidying up• Loading and unloading the dishwasher• Keeping own room and bathroom clean and tidy• Loading/unloading the washing machine; hanging out washing • Folding children’s clothes and putting them away• Being at home while children are at home due to illness or school holidays• Babysitting twice a week • Occasional overnight care – once every 3/4 months.We have a weekly cleaner who comes to do a deep clean of the whole house every week - if you want to do this cleaning, we'll pay $80 for the 4 hours every week.We travel a lot as a family and you are welcome to join us should you wish to. We will be spending 17 days on a road trip exploring the South Island over Christmas and New YearA bonus of a full month's wage is paid if you spend 12 months with us and 2 weeks if you spend 6 months with us.Minimum stay required is 6 months although a longer term stay is preferred. You’ll need to have the necessary visa to work in New Zealand or sort it yourself if you don't have it yet.You will have your own room, free use of unlimited wi fi, a bicycle for your own use and free access to everywhere in the house. We will pay $250 a week as well as provide all your food, accommodation and toiletries - basics like shampoo, conditioner, soap etc.You will have 5 evenings free as we require 2 evenings of babysitting ( 1 to do the weekly shop and 1 for date night) and have all your weekends free.Contact me if interested!
