As Asst Manager/Senior Officer of Strategic Planning and Engagement, you will be a part of a high performing, dynamic and important team of people that work cross-functionally across strategy development and industry engagement.
The team's mission is to position NSCC Singapore as a National Research Infrastructure (NRI) that supports key national R&D programmes and research projects to achieve significant economic outcomes and scientific imperatives for Singapore.
The role requires our team members to be self-driven, energetic, positive, and willing to learn.Job Scope:Support the implementation of HPC resource allocation policy by engaging the research community including research institutions, research offices, and research performers to keep them posted of our latest policies and Calls for Projects via website updates, edms, and email correspondences.Support the administration process needed in Calls for Projects from announcements to management of applications and onboarding of new research projects.Engage research performers, understand their requirements, recommend training needs, and support.Work with internal teams to facilitate training to support researcher performers to meet their research objectives.Manage research performers' requests and queries to support their computing needs.Update and track research performers' utilisation in a timely and organized manner by establishing systematic reporting and billing structure and working closely with internal teams e.g.
TechOps and Finance.Collate completed project deliverables and work with internal teams to identify potential use cases.Collate figures and statistics, perform simple analysis, and produce summary reports for management review and committee meetings.Administer billing of compute resources and liaise with ROs.Provide administrative support to the Director of Strategy, Planning and Engagements including but not limited to preparation of agenda and minutes, scheduling of meetings, and monitoring of strategic projects' timelines.Be self-motivated with a high capacity to continuously learn and update competency especially in the areas of national research initiatives and programmes, HPC, and emerging computing trends such as AI and quantum computing.
Perform any other tasks as assigned when the need arises.Qualification & Field of StudyDiploma/ Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics/ Administration/ IT or equivalent.Min.
Years of Experience2 - 3 years of experience in business analytics and/or project management, with a background or interest in IT and/or grant call administration.Other RequirementsExceptional communication both written and verbal, with the ability to listen and understand complex technology jargon.Excellent written and verbal skills are a must.Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and convey concise, clear accounts of information.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy to meet deadlines.Ability to work effectively as part of a team; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Strong will to learn, adapt, change, and grow as a professional.Experience in the administration of research grant calls, government agency engagements, and the high-tech sector will be an advantage.
