School of Nursing Wellington We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a vibrant and engaged Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer to the School of Nursing in the College of Health at Massey University, one of the most prestigious and well-respected Schools of Nursing in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer role will see you provide outstanding leadership in research and teaching in the areas of primary health care, mental health, long term condition management and disaster nursing. You will contribute to strategy, coordination and teaching within the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and lead development of a strong research culture underpinned by your experience in developing successful grant applications. You will build health sector, Iwi, and community engagement, and work with colleagues with expertise in a wide range of disciplines. Leading with enthusiasm, you will energise the team and develop the nursing profession, strengthen cultural safety within programmes and exhibit strong leadership and teaching skills. We are seeking to appoint at the Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer level, and encourage applications from those currently at a Senior Lecturer level.

You will need the following:

- Recent clinical and/or education experience in nursing
- Experience in teaching delivery; demonstrate use of a blended approach, including online technologies
- Publication in international high quality peer-reviewed journals
- Current New Zealand Nursing Council registration as a nurse
- A PhD or equivalent in nursing or a related discipline
- Leadership - proven effective, positive leadership experience
- Engagement - excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage inter-disciplinary teams and foster connections necessary to support processes
- Demonstrated ability to form excellent relationships with external clinical partners
- A strategic mindset with proven ability in leading research projects and initiatives
