The opportunity
As our Associate Learning Designer, you will support the Learning Design Team in course design and development.
Driven by a passion for student-centred curriculum design, you will:
have a background in education (preferably with experience in online education).
have knowledge (and, preferably, demonstrated the application) of pedagogical theories.
be the type that thrives on creative challenge and seeks the highest standards of quality.
be comfortable with learning coding, specifically HTML and Markdown, which are used in our LMS and CMS systems.
be a real go getter, self-started and being able to work independently as well as in the team.
be the start of relationship building and stakeholder management.
You will bring your educational experience to the role to contribute to the teams drive to deliver world class learning experiences. You will demonstrate great attention to detail, be process-driven and organised.
What you'll be doing
Working in coordination with our Learning Design team you'll roll up your sleeves and be responsible for:
Building courses into the LMS and CMS.
Performing course maintenance and reviews from all Keypath partners. (Collaborating with the Development team to design and revise courses.)
Collaborating with academics and team members to design, review, and revise courses.
Constructing learning experiences that promote interaction, social presence, and community among students, and between students and faculty.
Ensuring courses are designed on time and according to process and quality specifications.
Cross-functional collaboration and ensure adherence to process and expectations.
Involving yourself in networks to create feedback channels.
Applying a solutions-focussed response to issues and problems in a timely and appropriate manner.
Championing, proposing, applying and evaluating new approaches, ways of thinking and tools that will positively impact student needs, retention and outcomes.
