About the Role
Fixed term ending February 2021
As the Associate Director- Natural Capital, you'll work with the Agribusiness leadership team, wider Agribusiness team and across Corporate and Institutional Banking team to advise the strategic direction of Natural Capital, and implement the ongoing management of all aspects relating to sustainable agriculture and the 'Future of New Zealand Agribusiness'. Specifically, those aspects influencing Natural Capital risk, reputation and relationships; agricultural natural resource management, sustainable finance, thought leadership and banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
Thought leadership and strategic direction relating to nationwide environmental resource management for existing customers and the marketplace
Monitoring the BNZ Agribusiness portfolio for ESG risk compliance and strategic support for customer improvements
Internal education of key environmental risks, opportunities and themes
Manage the strategic direction of regional Natural Capital strategies implemented by regional Natural Capital champions

About You
We are looking for someone who has the ability to think strategically and handle comprehensive relationships within New Zealand's Agribusiness Industry.
You will have:
A strong understanding of New Zealand Agribusiness industry, current and future issues.
An understanding of corporate, business and agribusiness banking strategic objectives and implementation
An understanding of key sustainability themes in market
Marketing and public speaking experience
Proven relationship building and management experience
