Short Description:Work on a variety of critical client engagements with some of Infosys largest and most successful clients in New Zealand.

Associate Consultant for DevOps Implementation & Process automation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Interact with the client stakeholders and understand various services provided by them and provide technical, consultative, and delivery services to customers for DevOps and process automation initiatives.
Assist the professional services team to develop offerings including proven architectures, proofs of concept, and best practices for delivery.
Assist and support team members executing in projects on time and support offshore team with daily sync up calls.
Provide internal training and knowledge transfer to other technical consultants and staff, as requested or necessary.
Prepare estimations, release plan and road map for future releases.
Set up Continuous Integration-Continuous Delivery-Continuous Testing Pipelines aimed at increasing DevOps maturity for the client.
Design the approaches for automating the release management process and implement the same in the client’s production environment.
Identify performance bottlenecks in the application and do corrective measures to reduce it.
To ensure the quality of the deliverables by constant review and rework.
Responsible for improving the Performance, Scalability, Consistency, Usability and Security of the application by integrating various Open source tools and platforms.
Skill / Experience Requirements:
Essential:Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
2-7 years of experience in software industry.
Hands on DevOps implementation expertise at an enterprise level using tools not limiting to Azure DevOps (ALM, Build, Release, Test Management), Nexus, SAST Tools like SonarQube, Service Now, Splunk, Dynatrace.
Knowledge in analytics tools like PowerBI.
Expertise in integrating various third party applications and bringing them under a single umbrella.
Expertise in the DevOps domain and process automation is necessary.
Strong concepts of Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSql).
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell).
Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
Should have worked in Agile methodologies.
Knowledge on unit testing and system integration testing.
Preferred:Expertise/experience in Infosys DevOps Platform suite will be an added advantage.
Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
Additional Skills:Knowledge of Telecom Domain, Billing systems.
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Ansible, OpenShift, Git lab, PostgreSql, Oracle SQL, MongoDB, PowerBI, Grafana, Security Analysis Tools, etc.
Knowledge of suggesting applications capable of containerization and implement the containerized platform in the client’s production environment.
Knowledge of automation testing tools & frameworks.
Knowledge of project & code lifecycle management tools, e.g. Azure Devops, Jira, Confluence etc.
Knowledge of nonfunctional requirements & compliances.
Excellent customer interfacing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
