The Role
 
 
We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our Pizza Hut Hastings West restaurant.
You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations,manage Restaurant as per Sidhu Qsr Nz Limited Policies and procedures, inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain our high operational and food safety standards.
What You'll Do
 
 
Support the Restaurant Manager to meet sales and profitability targets
Step up to manage the store when the Restaurant Manager is away
Hire, coach, develop and Supervise Shift Managers and team members
Manage rosters, training, and staff performance
Maintain Appliances and facilities.
Create Service Schedule for Preventive Maintenance and breakdown Maintenance
Ensure Food and Safety Standards are adhered to in the restaurant 
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Maintain inventory and stock controls
Maintain Cash control as per company policy 
Resolve customer concerns with a friendly and professional approach
Create Great 5 Star Guest experience culture in the restaurant 
Setup and update manager's special across all 3 delivery platforms to meet the local market demand.
Set prices for the menu items  across all 3 delivery platforms keeping in mind the margins for the store.
Handle recruitment of team members, ensuring all team members receive an appropriate induction     orientation to the store and receive appropriate ongoing training support.
Ensure the store is optimally stocked, and that stock levels are controlled appropriately.
Ensure all appropriate signage is displayed correctly and that advertised product is displayed meaningfully.
Handle local marketing and advertising ensuring circular promotional programmes are adopted and brand consistent.
While setting prices so that the store presents a competitive offer to the market at all times.
About You
 
 
Previous hospitality, retail, or QSR  experience
Previous work experience in Pizza industry would be preferred with previous Management training completed in Pizza Hut
Strong communication and people skills
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
Confident managing a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards
Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a ministry of justice check when required
Right to work in New Zealand
Business studies/Qualification would be prefered
