We are a tier 1 PAK’nSAVE, in our own part of NZ paradise, market dominant and are passionate about delivering our Customer Promises to our customers of: ‘Sweet as’, ‘Cheap as’ and ‘Fresh as’. We now have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team in a newly created role as our Assistant Store Manager.
You may already be in an Assistant Store Managers role and looking to join a bigger team or you may be looking for the next step in your career. Your direct reports include Front of House (includes Checkouts, Lotto, Trolley’s & Cleaning), People and Wellbeing, Safety, Office, and the Security team. Previous experience as a Checkout Manager is desired and you ideally will also have a sound understanding of NZ employment law and generalist HR, be passionate about Wellbeing & Safety & ideally know some of the SAP and Office functions. You will report directly to the Owner/Operators.
People are your focus and you will have great leadership ability, be able to multi-task, and see the bigger picture at all times. You will know how to relate to all types of people and how to get the best out of them. By doing this your team will be engaged and motivated which will ultimately provide a great environment for our customers.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Rostered days will be Sunday to Thursday and remuneration will be based on experience. Relocation costs will also be available to the successful applicant
