Academic and research staff in our laboratories are engaged in high-quality internationally-recognised physiological research. We use state-of-the-art technologies to undertake integrative cellular and molecular investigations aimed at understanding animal and human physiology.
The role
The Assistant Research Fellow will provide research support and assistance in a cardiorespiratory laboratory investigating the relationship between cerebral blood flow and sympathetic nerve activation following acute myocardial infarction.
Duties will include:
• Extensive handling of small laboratory animals.
• Analysis of experimental data.
• General organizational and laboratory practices.
Your skills and experience
Applicants should have:
• At least a BSc or BBiomedSc in physiology or relevant related field.
• Skilled with animal handling and surgical procedures is highly desirable.
• Previous laboratory experience desired.
• Attention to detail and meticulous work ethic.
• Organisational and time management skills.

This is a full-time, fixed term position available from May 2020, for 24 months.
