Assistant Project Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join a highly regarded contractor specialising in the Water sector. Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful post-holder will support the development and continuous improvement of the delivery team, striving to enhance the health, safety, quality and environmental outcomes and commercial success of the project. As Assistant Project Manager you will be part of the delivery team of a £70m upgrade of a Water Treatment Plant in Dorset.As Assistant Project Manager you will:* Be responsible for the administration of the Project Management Plan* Support the Project Manager and Commercial team of any potential EWN's, CE's CI or change in scope.* Work with the management team to ensure that project costs do not exceed budgets.* Raise any key project issues and risks of mitigation to the Project Manager.* Assist with the resource profiling of the project programmes and project team.Our client requires an Assistant Project Manager with:* HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent.* Experience of working in a similar position within the Civil Engineering/Water/Utility sector.* SMSTS, CSCS Managers card and IOSH/NEBOSH* Member of a relevant professional body (APMI, CMI, ICE etc)* Working towards chartershipSalary/Benefits:* £50,000 - £55,000 per annum* Company car/car allowance* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays* Option to purchase an additional 5 days leave* Employer contribution pension scheme* Private medical insurance* Life assurance* Health insurance* Plus additional company benefitsIf you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly Evans on (phone number removed).
