About the opportunity
Jacobs' Integrated Project Services division is a quality provider of Project and Cost Management services to public and private sector clients across a range of markets including Transport Infrastructure, Buildings Design and Services, Power & Energy, Water & Environment and others.
As an Assistant PM you will be exposed to a wide range of technically challenging projects and be trained and mentored to assume responsibility for the management and coordination of engineering, design, commissioning, quality, health and safety, finance and administration, and cost and schedule activities of projects. Key work areas of the role will include:Working as part of a local and national PM consulting team on a diverse range of projects
Provide specialist PM and possibly engineering input depending on your background, to existing and new clients across all market sectors
Manage stakeholders, time and cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget

The successful candidate will:Have a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
Have some relevant experience
Hold a clean, valid New Zealand driver’s licence
Possess strong leadership skills and the drive to make it to full Project Manager level
