We are currently looking for a unique individual with a positive attitude to work in our Wellington City branch, who can fully support the Branch Manager in motivating and leading a team to maximise sales. You will need to have a proven track record in retail, with a high level of customer service skills. You will be helping customers one on one in a sales consultative capacity and providing product knowledge and advice to ensure that customers leave the store with the right lighting solution for their needs.
In the Managers absence you will be hands on in the day-to-day running of the store and will need to have excellent time management and organisational skills.
To ensure your success in this role you will:
Assist in merchandising, ticketing and inventory; some physical work will be required
Have computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs
Previous experience with SAP and a retail POS system is an advantage
Be reliable and able to work both week days and weekends (Sunday to Thursday roster)
Have previous retail experience
Be able to provide support to the manager and give guidance to the team in line with our company vision and values
A cheerful, upbeat and motivated approach and willing to go that extra mile
Have good selling skills
