They work to understand and leverage knowledge of dental services in their local market and support the execution of the PDS Operational Model, also known as the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), to gain Patients for Life (PFL).
In the absence of the Operations Manager, they provide leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success.
This role supervises front office team members and supports PDS's mission and culture.ResponsibilitiesModel company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.Act as manager of supported practice in the Operations Manager's absence.Plan and prepare work schedules and assign team members to specific duties.Work with team members to develop successful patient communication skills and facilitate learning.Create team focus on executing the Owner Dentists' Clinical Culture to support PPE.Assist in driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth.Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols.Provide feedback on tactics that change financial and patient outcomes for organizational benefit.Ensure the office follows PDS standards regarding facility cleanliness and maintenance.Lead and participate in daily huddles and other meetings as required.Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand, making decisions aligned with the PDS Brand framework.Be a Subject Matter Expert in executing PDS processes, systems, and tools, contributing to their improvement.Support the execution of the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff to gain Patients for Life.Support Clinicians' education and referrals regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor per company policies; address others professionally and respectfully.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferredPrior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesResults-oriented, energetic self-starter who sets and meets goals, and persists to achieve results.Effective team builder with strong character, integrity, open communication, and motivational skills.Patient advocate with empathy, flexibility, and ethical standards.Process-focused operator with detailed, organized, and data-driven decision-making skills; proficient in computers.Financial acumen to understand profit drivers, utilize metrics, and understand local market dynamics.Influencer with active listening skills, trust-building ability, and coaching adaptability.Self-motivated, reliable, capable of working independently and as part of a team.Effective multitasker, with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offTuition Reimbursement401KPaid community volunteer timeCompensation: $29.00-$40.00 per hourPDS Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
