Located opposite King George Square, City Hall, and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD, the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane, including 2 ballrooms.The hotel also features popular externally facing venues including Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Café, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar, as well as internal-facing KG Bar, Espresso Bar, and our Executive Lounge.Position: Duty Manager - Front OfficeWe are looking for our next Duty Manager - Front Office to join our team!Job DescriptionAssist with the management of all operational departments as requiredManagement of roster, costings, and forecastingProfessional development of Guest Service Agents & Porters to ensure strong succession planningInvolvement in and management of setting KPIs for Front Office & guest satisfactionProcess and assist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered toAssist in all areas of the hotel to eliminate potential issues including Food & Beverage operationsImmediately attend to guest requests, and lead by example to other team members by being proactive and resourcefulResponsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff membersOversee the entire guest experience from reservation through to departureQualificationsA natural bright and bubbly customer service style that surprises our guestsAbility to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks, with experience managing large airline crew movementsExperience in Opera, Microsoft Word, and Outlook; holding a Senior First Aid Certificate, QLD RSA, and an open manual driver's licenseAvailability to work varied shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, overnight, and public holidays as per business needsIn return, we will provide career development opportunities, a fun and rewarding environment, and hotel discounts worldwide.Additional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, aiming to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.
