We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual, to join QPAC in the full-time, 2-year term role ofAssistant Manager - Food and Beverage.
This role is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Management Team, in the day-to-day efficient, profitable and effective operation of QPACs casual dining restaurants and bars. Additional responsibilities include, assisting with:
Implementing, monitoring and evaluating the quality and consistency of service, outlet and staff presentation and hygiene standards within these outlets, to ensure organisation standards are met.
Recruitment, training, development and management of the casual workforce; in accordance to QPACs Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, policies and procedures.
Rostering and labour management to ensure profitability of the food and beverage operations.
Determining the opening requirements for food and beverage outlets to ensure that they meet financial expectations and support the strategic plan.
Managing the Point of Sale system, including the setup of new product and menu items, building terminal screens, monthly reporting, and wastage analysis and cash handling.
Providing a strong leadership and direction to a diverse team.
This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional communication skills, professionalism and personal presentation, demonstrated organisational skills and a genuine commitment to exceeding customers expectations.
The successful candidate will require a high degree of flexibility in work times and the ability to work afternoon or evening shifts across weekdays and weekends.
Please note,it is a mandatory requirement for applicants recommended for appointment to this position:
1.To present a national police certificate (name check only) clear of security breaches and dishonesty type offences; and
2.Hold a current nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol or RMLV; or the ability to obtain this within 30 days of commencement.
