The Job is:
To assist in the day to day activities of the Head Linemarker to ensure an efficient process is achieved while learning the skills required to run a Linemarking team as a Head Linemarker.
There are plenty of hours and a great structure to achieve the best work-life balance with the option to pick up additional hours.
All training is provided, (other than your full class 1 drivers licence).
The Responsibilities are:
To follow the standard procedures of the company and comply with the safe operation of all equipment (all taught on the job)
To meet project timeframes by working with the Head Linemarker and occasionally other Assistant Linemarkers to finish on time and on budget.
A Typical Day:
Arrive at the depot at the assigned start time (communicated via the supplied mobile and calendar)
Check over the days jobs with a Head Linemarker, Confirming you have all nessary plans and variations for the day,
Jump in to one of the Linemarking units and travel to the job,
Follow the sites procedures onsite (sign in process, inductions ect),
Complete a Toolbox talk/Prestart and fill in the JSA and sign off with the Head Linemarker,
Cone off the area, Unload the machinery, Set out the Job, Assist the Head Linemarker in the painting process,
Take job completion photos and upload to the job app,
Repeat for the days jobs,
Return to the depot, unload the used consumables and paint and replace, clean down the stencils, fill the Linemarkers with Paint and Fuel, Reload the Linemarking unit for the next day,
Follow our ‘Perfect Day’ Check list with the Head Linemarker to receive the H+S Bonus.
Requirements for this position are:
To have a minimum class 1 licence.
To be available Tue to Sat with the option to pick up additional hours as required.
To have a great attitude and drive to improve your skills under the tutelage of our Head Linemarkers.
We have an ever growing requirement for Assistant and Head Linemarkers and there are progression opportunities within the Linemarking department.
