Now we are looking for you!An Assistant Kitchen Manager (Sous Chef) to start straight away as we launch our premium steakhouse restaurant: Think of a journey over time, a beautiful menu inspired by seasonality, a passionate A-Team and a challenging new restaurant.
Day to day responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining service standards in a premium/refined restaurant environment to ensure a world class hospitality experience.
Strong, natural leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
Proven ability to work in high pressure/ high volume environment with strong decision-making skills and work with a sense of urgency.
Understanding of financials and budget control including labour control, stock management, wastage and cost of goods.
Management of daily restaurant operations whilst meeting company objectives and key performance indicators
Creating and building on relationships with our guests, employees and clients
Ability to mentor, think on your feet and have a lot of fun

What are we looking for?
Great eye for detail and dish presentation
Butchery and dry ageing experience
Kitchen management experience in similar position
Experience as a leader of a high volume venue, with a thorough understanding of kitchen and labour budgets
Enjoys working with seasonal produce and able to convert that into dish in accordance to seasonality
Ability to meet company objectives and key performance indicators
Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
Ensure compliance with all OHS legislation (act and regulation)
