Assistant Financial Controller

Assist a financial controller with EOM closing, quarterly forecast and annual budgetingMaintain and optimize a balanced set of KPIs reflecting all aspects of the Business Line's performance, ensuring early identification of issues as well as outcomesLiaise with the administrative team on resource allocation, invoicing process and reconciliation, intragroup transaction reconciliation, expense booking to mitigate the risk of profit and loss leakagePerform routine cost review and work with AP and admin team to maintain a reasonable turnaround time on supplier (including intragroup) invoices processing, and reduce the chance of out of period expensesSupport a financial controller in the Account Receivables review, and identify key actions for credit controllers and branches to follow upMaintain cash flow projection and seek cost saving opportunities in an on going basisAct as an offsider for the financial controllerResponsible for any ad-hoc tasks assigned by a financial controllerAssist to prepare Business Review Meeting for Singapore, as well as other related meetingsJob Requirements3 years of relevant work experience in public practice or commercialCandidate should have a hands-on mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, OutlookPrior experience in accounts payable, account receivable or project accounting will be looked upon favorablyGood business acumen and excellent people skillsWorking towards CA, CPA or ACCA and planning to join one of professional accounting accreditation programs within one to two yearsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesCompany information Registration No. 198302159W Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Singapore?
