Job Summary
.Our housekeeping team is crucial in keeping the cleaning service of rooms, public areas, laundry to a high standard to meet our guests expectation as such we have large team with over 100 housekeeping attendants who are all fun loving, ready to learn and welcome a passionate housekeeping leader to the team.
Role Objectives
To assist all of the Housekeeping Attendants to deliver a professional housekeeping service.
Coordinate the housekeeping services and functions focused
Lead by example in taking the initiative to create moments of ‘WOW’ for our guests, create this culture for your team

The Role
With the Housekeeping team, you'll develop, review and maintain service quality within Cordis brand standards
You'll work on rosters, SoPs, ordering of stock, payroll, the strategies and implementation of those for the housekeeping.
Drive our vision, mission, objectives and values with a culture of taking initiative
Leading and motivating staff to achieve KPIs
Ensuring room allocation's and special guests requests are actioned
Monitoring colleague performance as well as conducting room inspections
Ensure all guests leave promoters of Cordis, Auckland
We are looking for someone who is flexible with their availability – to be successful, you will need to be able to work a typical hospitality roster and that means covering all shifts across a 7 day rotating roster.

Requirement
.
Our ideal candidate
Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a large team ideally in a large hotel environment with high occupancy hotel.
Have sound understanding of all housekeeping areas including uniforms, public areas, rooms and laundry etc
Brings a better everyday attitude to everything housekeeping and not scared of rolling up your sleeves and helping the team when needed
Experience ordering stock, creating rosters and processing payroll
Proven ability in leading a team to exceed KPI's
Assist with training and developing the team to achieve hotel standards
A high level of organisation, time management and problem solving skills
