Assistant Backpacker Manager Wanted

We are looking for a Second Manager, to assist our Main Manager.You will need to be available to start a trial week in November and will be trained up by the current manager on the site to make sure the position is for you. This is a minimum of three months position in our busy season so we need someone that can commit for that long.We are a busy working backapackers hostel (capacity of 260 persons) in which our hosts can stay in rooms, vans or tents. Most of them are long-term backpackers working in vineyards / factories / construction and hospitality. The main task for the Second Manager will be to assist the Main Manager: as a receptionnist (check-in, rent, change monney for the laundry etc), cleaning, changing rooms, organizing cleaners, organizing work for the guests and dealing with agencies etc.We also ask the Second Manager to keep the busy evenings quiet: we need someone who is not afraid to enforce rules, take the responsabilities and be comfortable with the security position.
