Central Investigation Team
We are looking for a motivated and driven person to join the Learning Support team in National Office, Wellington.
As an Assistant Adviser within the Provider Services team you will be involved with programmes and services that support students across New Zealand to stay engaged and achieve in education. In this role you will be expected to contribute to the overall work of the team.
The Assistant Adviser, Central Investigation Team manages the daily non-enrolment notifications, unjustified absences. You will be making daily contact with parents/caregivers and schools regarding children who are absent from school and referring them to the Attendance Service if required.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
excellent telephone and customer service skills
managing difficult telephone conversations
high level analysis and problem solving ability
relationship management experience
be efficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel
Be able to use a range of computer based databases
