Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development)Full Time, Permanent, Northland Based Closing Date: 5 May 2024ABOUT THE ROLE To provide financial data and reports that are accurate and complete and timely to meet requirements of Ngapuhi Social Services. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORExperience in an Assistant Accountant position.Experience working with Xero Accounting software.Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in developing strong relationships within an organisation.Holds a relevant tertiary qualification recognised by CAANZ or equivalent.Financial and Management Reporting: month-end processing (including accruals and provisions), general ledger reconciliation.Financial Analysis: analysis and investigation of general ledger enquiries, bank reconciliations.Analytical with strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach.A self-motivated individual who can operate autonomously but also as part of a team.The ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levels in the organization.Ngapuhi Iwi Social Services (NISS) was originally established in 1986 to provide Maatua Whangai services and became a section 396 provider in 1996.
