Te wero – The Challenge
A role has become available in the Infrastructure Asset Management team within our Infrastructure & Asset Management group. We are looking for someone who can manage our District Facilities assets across the far north.
You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our asset data recording system for these assets, including developing asset assessment and management plans. This includes ownership and performance monitoring of the Asset Management Plan (AMP).
Mo koe – About You
It’s expected that you’ll have a degree in engineering or equivalent as well as experience or knowledge in design, construction, operation and management in the asset class i.e. property, parks and reserves, recreational and community facilities.
It is important that you have financial understanding of accounting for infrastructure assets and experience with asset management computer systems. Knowledge in local government legislation, practices and standards is desired.
Your skills will include proven interpersonal skills and a passion for problem solving.
You’ll be driven by wanting to make a difference in the community and be able to contribute in a meaningful way to the Infrastructure & Asset Management team.
