The Role:What This Opportunity's All About
If you are an experienced Registered Midwife holding a current practising certificate and are looking for a role where you can work both autonomously and as part of wonderful rural team then we would love to hear from you. We are an efficient, friendly service with a seven bedded unit, where we strive to provide quality women centred maternity care for the women and families of our community.
As a midwife within our service you will be responsible for the overall planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families and the wider MDT.
The Role:Where you fit it
You will have a passion for normal physiological birth, women-centred care and a commitment to support breastfeeding as you collaborate with LMC midwives and our maternity services teams to ensure mothers and babies receive optimum care / outcomes during their stay
We pride ourselves in offering women and their families a relaxed and homelike environment therefore you will enjoy being part of a team of midwives who work together with women of all ages and backgrounds to provide optimum evidence based advice, midwifery care during pregnancy, labour and the post-partum period
