Armageddon Expo is coming to Tauranga! We are in need of reliable students to work our upcoming Tauranga expo.Areas of work include: Celebrity Guest Minders (assistants to the celebrity guests during signing/photo sessions, panels etc) Crowd Management (managing queues around signing/photo areas etc) Animation Area guest management Door entry/ticket sales (cash and eftpos handling) Security (cosplay prop check, special access room guard) Working with our Cosplay guests and areas Gopher
We require people with exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills, team spirit and the ability to think on your feet. Please note you will be matched to the most suitable role dependent on your skills and experience, including some roles that may not be listed above.The event opening hours are: Saturday 8 June: 9.00am - 5.00pm Sunday 9 June: 10.00am - 5.00pm
Hours are approximately 17 hours for the weekend. However, this will depend on the role you are given as some roles have shorter hours. Staff will need to be available from 7.30am on the Saturday for H&S training and 8.30am on the Sunday.
This job will be based at the ASB Baypark Arena in Tauranga, you will be paid $18/hr + 8% holiday pay.
