To support their business expansion, they are seeking an Area Sales Manager with expertise in the plumbing industry to join their dynamic team working in the South Island NZ.As the Area Sales Manager your duties will include:Cultivate, sustain, and expand existing business relationships with plumbing merchants, contractors, consultants, engineers, architects, and developers to secure product specifications.Develop and execute a cold calling strategy for construction and residential sites to introduce our clients products, while keeping detailed records and reports of customer interactions across different communication channels.Attain regional sales targets and new project goals for underfloor heating and plumbing products.Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met.Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, competitors' products, and other market information that is of interest or value to customers.In collaboration with the sales team, ensure the successful execution of the advertising and promotions program, along with active participation in trade shows.Make certain that complaints are addressed promptly and that resolutions are reached which satisfy both the customer and our client.What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:We seek a technically proficient individual with at least three years of sales experience in a medium to large-sized company, ideally with knowledge of plumbing or a related construction market in New Zealand.Core competencies should encompass outstanding customer interface and interpersonal skills, along with technical aptitude.
