The O’Brien Group has more than 25 years’ experience in the manufacture of customised benchtops, partitions and panelling. We use the latest technology and precision cutting to deliver our client’s exact design specifications and timeframes. With 6 branches nationwide, we are the biggest benchtop fabricator and are aiming to achieve significant growth over the next 3-5 years and to help us achieve and manage that, we will be looking to add a new Area Account Manager to look after our Auckland and Hamilton region.
This is where you come in!
As our Area Account Manager, you’ll be tasked with driving new products and services to our existing customers as well developing a strategic plan to build a pipeline of new business. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager this role will see you working alongside our Branch Manager to create and facilitate that growth.
Day to day you’ll identify new projects to target, retaining and growing our existing customer base, prospect for new clients and building relationships with key stakeholders in Auckland, Hamilton, greater Waikato and Tauranga regions being your primary territories.
So who are you?
For us it’s not just about having solid account and sales experience (although that is important) it’s about attitude and having a passion for the building industry.
At the end of the day you’re able to research, hunt out opportunities and grow our brand and market share so that we will become our customers number one preferred benchtop supplier. You’re a strong relationship builder who is experienced in introducing new products/brands or services to the market. Naturally you’re a savvy Account Manager with a disciplined approach to reporting and will be proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
Related building industry experience is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate would be based in Auckland.
