Architectural Designer/Drafting

We are a small award-winning firm and keen to grow with respective like minded people. We have an established office in Auckland, Rotorua and Hamilton and several “hot working spots” around the country.
We primarily do cultural work with Iwi, and other communities with budgets ranging from $300,000 through to Millions. Our projects range from Marae through to large scale master planning. Geographical location of our projects range from Bay Of Plenty through to Fiji, Christchurch and Auckland. We are looking somebody who can be self-starter and run project documentation that will comply NZ building codes whilst appreciating design, budget and time constraints. This is for a fixed term period with 20 - 40 hours in total over 3 - 4 weeks. There is the possibility for this position to become permanent for the right candidate.You must have a clear understanding and experience of having gone through of all processes of building consent application documentation and NZS 3604. Applicants must have experience with working drawings that have gone to the council for consent.
Applicants for this position must have working rights in New Zealand. Must be able to used auto-cad.
The successful candidate will be working from home, so it's essential that you have your own software and the ability to work remotely. New Zealand architectural/drafting experience is essential for this role.Please note: this is a self employed contractor role where you will be invoicing the employer, therefore those on student visas will be ineligible to apply
