We are a luxury and high end design company who are looking for enthusiastic junior designers to join our pool of Archicad technicians within an existing design company.
This position will be working with our talented group of interior and architectural designers, so you must be willing to develop your skill base and knowledge with a view to the possibility of regular intern or term break work. The work is based around the needs of each contract, so there is plenty to learn about how a design practice create a project from start to finish.
We have many challenging projects both in NZ, and around Asia that would give excellent in house experience, and grow your problem solving skills.
We have a highly multi-skilled design group who use Archicad for our base drawings. These drawings are produced to an extremely high standard, fully layered and scheduled - you'll be working on real working models as we develop them with the construction teams and clients.
The work is primarily in the area of updating the existing plans and re-detailing areas that require adjustments or problem solving to get a solution that will work in the construction documents and on site.
All work will be under supervision, as we have set standards and our output is known for it's quality and precision. The right candidates will benefit from the commercial and residential experience and will be encouraged to extend themselves as their skills and confidence grow.

Indicative hours are not fixed but based around project requirements. We have students working around University, Masters and Tutoring schedules, so we are respectful of your study needs.

If you are skilled in Mandarin or Cantonese this would also be a boost as we have large projects in Mainland China and Hong Kong. We provide our plans and construction documentation translated for our clients and the construction team as a matter of course.
