We now have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Application Support Analyst to support our team in using our business systems and applications effectively and efficiently.

We?re looking for someone whose love of technology and constant learning is complemented by the need for challenge and a desire to know how a business works and how technology can be the enabler. You?ll be helping our people get the best out of our systems, and could be doing anything from answering usage questions and troubleshooting business problems to helping design and test improvements; this role needs a technology-minded individual with a keen interest in how businesses work and who?s ready to get stuck in.
To start, you?d be focusing on our systems supporting our warehouse team (Dynamics 365) and our people & leadership team (Workday) but would soon get exposure to our full range of systems.
As our next Applications Support Analyst, here?s a snapshot of what you?ll be doing:
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests
Develop a solid understanding of how our applications & processes work to support the above
Prepare solutions in conjunction with our software partners, test those solutions and manage the change and training process
Conduct meetings and presentations to share & workshop ideas or issues and document outcomes
Develop and perform functional and user acceptance testing for smaller-scale projects and business improvement opportunities
Proactively evaluate business processes, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions, usually with our vendor partners
Help develop change materials and work on communication and delivery of training and other change messages
Be involved in ?expert user? configuration around our core systems such as workflows, views, dashboards, reports and PowerApps
This role is based in our National Support Office in Penrose and the role is a permanent full-time opportunity that?s full of variety and scope.
What we need from you:
Two or more years of working within a business or a technology function, supporting application and process change
A strong desire to see issues through to resolution, with high levels of attention to detail and the ability to dig into and understand the causes of problems
A keen interest in how technology supports business processes and how modern business applications such as Dynamics 365 and Workday operate and how they can be used and configured to improve our business
A desire to understand business processes and identify improvements and efficiencies, whether enabled by technology or process change
Great written and verbal communication skills to enable complex messages to be understood by a variety of different audiences
Facilitation skills to bring together different perspectives on business challenges and devise a course of action
Great teamwork skills and an ability to establish good working relationships within the team and throughout the business
Ability to get satisfaction from seeing their work improve the working life of our team and our customers
