Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.Short DescriptionImplement new systems, enhance and/or upgrade existing systems, system optimization, new feature/function implementation.Analyze, diagnose, and implement system and process changes.Act as the application subject matter expert (SME) when assigned to project teams.Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.Work with cross-functional teams and Cooper clients by providing education on system functionality and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the application.Consistently meet project deadlines and go the extra mile to ensure dates are met.SupportServe as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts, and technical support.Provide on-call support 24/7.Monitor queues, event logs, and brokers, and perform maintenance as required.Monitor interfaces with external systems.Create ad hoc reports per user specifications.QA/triage tickets.TestingDevelop, plan, and execute testing for supported applications.Create and maintain test scripts in support of new installations, projects, and/or system updates.DocumentationMaintain support documentation, service desk routing, and knowledge base entries.
Communicate all necessary application changes, enhancements, and procedures to all necessary internal department teams.Document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.Scope, Purpose, and Frequency of ContactsFrequent interaction with IT staff and end-users, including health system staff, management, or physicians.Experience Required3-5 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field and handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary.Education RequirementsBachelors preferred in Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology/Systems, or Healthcare.
3-5 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.License/Certification RequirementsPreferred: RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN.
Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system.
Epic Care Ambulatory certification preferred.
Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable.Special RequirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively translate IT terminology and processes with key stakeholders.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a high pace work environment.
