ABOUT THE COMPANY

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Provide 24/7 support to media applications and online systems
- Work in a NOC environment working rostered shifts, including weekends

DUTIES
- Provide 24/7 support to media applications, systems and staff
- Look into code to see where the issues stem from
- Proactivly monitor network devices
- Ensure tickets are updated, and provide high quality customer service
- Communicate technical issues to relevant stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in supporting in-house built applications on mobile and web
- Previous experience working in a 24/7 environment
- Ability to analyse problems, diagnose faults and remedy
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments
- Knowledge of web services (Apache, Varnish, Tomcat)
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Perl etc)
