The New Zealand Blood Service has sole responsibility for collecting, processing and distributing blood in New Zealand. Through the generosity of other New Zealanders, we are able to help save lives. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an organisation that does make a difference!
As our new permanent Apheresis Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting Plasma and Platelet Donors within the Wellington Region and for maintaining productive relationships with our new and existing Donors to ensure our Donor Database meets our increasing weekly plasma and platelet collection requirements.
The Apheresis Co-ordinator also plays a key role in supporting the Donor Recruiters with recruitment promotions to lift awareness of blood/apheresis donations.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication, time management, computer and organisational skills and the ability to develop and build strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
This position would suit someone with a background in customer services, or sales and marketing, focused on developing long-term customer relationships.
