Make a real impact by ensuring safety and promoting responsible dog ownership in the communityWork independently with support, managing a variety of interesting and challenging casesEnjoy a competitive salary, allowance, and great benefits while making a difference in AucklandHe angitutanga: The opportunityYou will work within the Dog Control Act 1996 and Council policies and procedures to respond to public complaints about dog and stock control; customer requests for services including managing aggressive and/or barking dogs, dog attacks, wandering dogs, stock issues; and providing requirements for proactive patrolling and assistance with prosecutions.You will work in the community, often flying solo, tackling tasks with the support of a large team.
You will also assist in prosecutions and intelligence lead proactive patrols.This role is a variable 24/7 morning and evening roster with on-call work, and covers South Auckland.
