We have an opportunity for an energetic and dynamic Anaesthetic Technician (ODP) to join the Theatre team at Gisborne Hospital.
Gisborne Hospital has 3 Operating Theatres and 1 Endo room. We provide elective and acute services Monday to Friday with on call cover after hours during the week and weekend for acute surgery.
We provide secondary level surgery in Orthopaedics, General, O&G, ORL and Ophthalmology. We also have visiting surgeons for Urology, plastics and dental.
As a Technician you would not only work in Theatre but also have the opportunity and the challenge of being involved with the Anaesthetist in ED and ICU and trauma care within Theatre. There will be opportunities to develop the role.
The Gisborne district itself offers a great rural lifestyle, sandy beaches, excellent waves and a sunny climate. A great place to live and explore.
