Anaesthetic Technician

Southern Cross' Christchurch hospital has had significant upgrades and new facilities in recent years and typically provides around 9,500 patients each year. Facilities include digital operating theatres, an advanced ‘hybrid' operating room, and systems for robotically-assisted surgery, advanced digital scanning technologies, consulting facilities and a purpose-built endoscopy centre.
About the role:
You will be required to provide a high standard of clinical assistance to the Anaesthetists and deliver a safe, appropriate, quality patient/family centred patient care.
We have both part and full-time positions available.
To be successful you will ideally need:
To be a qualified Anaesthetic Technician
Have previous Anaesthetic Technician experience in a healthcare facility
Hold a qualification with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand as a certified Anaesthetic Technician
Proven ability to be able to work co-operatively within a multi-disciplinary team
