About the Role
Hutt Valley DHB is a dynamic and innovative provider of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery involving multi-disciplinary teams; along with services for obstetrics and gynaecological, ENT, general, orthopaedics, dental, maxillofacial, ophthalmology and acute services.
As our new Anaesthetic Technician you will be part of a close-knit team who work within a supportive, approachable and sociable environment. Our large operating theatres have views and are equipped with Aysis Carestation 2 anaesthetic machines.
To join us you will need to have the following;
Current registration and Annual Practicing Certificate with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council (or be eligable to apply)
A high level of professionalism and communication, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent crisis-management skills
Ability to work on a rostered and rotating basis with an on-call service for overnight cover
